this shortcut: Pour several drops of mineral or baby oil onto a sponge or paper towel and then wipe down the sink. Spots will disappear and the sink will shine

1Make Your Own Steak Sauce
Instead of buying pricey sauce, make your own for a lot less: Just mix 1 cup Worcestershire sauce with 1 cup tomato ketchup. Store in the refrigerator and use on any meat.

Tile Grout Cleaner
To clean the grout on your shower or tub, make this solution: Mix 1/4 cup Borax, 1/2 cup baking soda with just enough hot water to create a paste. Use a soft brush to apply to the grout and scrub. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse.

When Washing Crystal
After a party, when you are cleaning up, wear rubber gloves to hand wash crystal and fine china. You'll have a better grip, so they don't slip out of your hands. When dried, you can put plastic wrap over china and crystal, so dust won't buildup when they are stored.

Computer Keyboard Dirty
Crumbs and dust in your keyboard? To remove, uplug and turn keyboard upside down over a trashcan and gently shake out all the crud that's stuck in and around the keys. Then wipe off keys with a lightly damp microfiber cloth (don't over-wet because you don't want liquid dripping into the keys).

Keep Cheap Paper Plates Handy
They can be used in so many ways: as a dustpan, cutting board, throwaway sthingy rest. In the microwave, they can serve as a spill-catcher or put over top of food to avoid splatters.

Three Household Rules for the Bathroom
1. Nothing is left on the floor (family members must pick up clothes and towels). 2. If you use it, clean it (put caps back on products, wipe off counters and sink). 3. Right stuff in the right place (put everything used back where it belongs).
