Thanks Rhonda for telling me about Essiac, I had never heard of it before. I searched for it in Google and found the site linked below. **************** Essiac was used in cancer therapy, by nurse Rene Caisse, in her clinic in Bracebridge Canada between 1934 and 1942, I found the linked article very interesting, so have a read if you wish and see what you think. www.essiacinfo.org/index.html

Hi Jim:
Thanks for the info.... went there and read... there was some new info i did not know about.
My mother totallay believes in this stiuf although the oncologist says studies have been done and that Essiac does not do all they claim it does and with some meds it can deter the results.
The holistic doctors still swear by it and say the oncologists are just jealous of their miraculous discovery.
It tastes horrid and smells pretty bad too......I have to say that that mom's doctor is dumbfounded that my mother is doing so well though and has just put her hands in the air and said whatever you are doing... keep on doing it.
It could be just plain "DETERMINATION"( my word instead of stubborness) I hope that is the case. I know she had the flu shot and that was not good she was really really ill for over a week. Think I will skip mine this year .!!!
The family doctor said the same thing... everyone else she took chemo with who was supposedly as far as long as she is has since passed so.... there is soemthing going on.
Her cough is back though but not as bad and there is a new detoxification footbath that is suppose to help.... anyway sure hope Brenda is doing better and you as well.
Keeping you both in my be well prayers.
~Rhonda
