Hello, I found this site browsing the internet looking for answers. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personalities Disorder about four years ago. I was relieved at first, to find out why I had always acted the way I had for most of my life. I began seeing a psychiatrist regularly and taking meds. That lasted about four months. I decided I was fine and did not need to see a psychiatrist or take meds. anymore. Shortly after that decision, my third marriage ended in divorce, my kid's lives were completely disrupted again and, I married my fourth husband. I am still married to my fourth husband but, find myself completely unhappy, empty and confused. I know how I am and I recognize the pattern but, I cannot make myself seek help. I am addicted to my own behavior.

Honey
My thoughts are : Look for the help-----if the meds and support visits helped why blow it YOU and YOUR kids all deserve happiness--everyone does.
We all need help and there is no harm is asking especially when it is available to you.
Being happy and loved is a good thing
Years ago help was not available and people with mental illness were locked away or hidden--it was brutal and cruel Although they do not fully understand the why's and wherfore's of this--they have come a long way with meds.
Be kind to yourself--you deserve it ~Rhonda
