searching for myself

[jasmine]

sorrow
unfolding
in my flooding, hurting arms

I
reach for i
and scream silently with
these words and tears

let
us
cry softly softly
and be heard

Please
don't hurt us
please don't
leave us
here alone in the dark jeopardy
of our lost fragile despair

hear and hold us
safe in the night

believe in us
we exist
fragile ephemeral and frail
strong as memory and as torn

repair our heart
for our spirit was broken
evermore
so
we reach out for it to be mended
with words and sounds and tears
so
find us
deep in her memory now
and heal our pain

we wear our deep scars inside our hear like passions longing for life

hear us
hear me
hear you

and find a pattern to the light of our maze
for healing.
