Traffic Is Blighty*
for me, you see
cars are so flighty
such little personal space
all involved in their race
vieing for first place
in a society rife with impropiety
switching lanes, scurrilous claims
who or what is to blame
if we fly off a curve
drive with verve
miss a chance to serve
the Man a.k.a society
with pleasant notoriety
and speak politely
to Ms. Aphrodite
