Handy Hints
If someone doesn't have an air-bake (insulated) cookies sheet, they can use a double sheet of newspaper folded or cut to the size of the cookie sheet, place aluminum foil over top of it and bake your cookies. This will keep them from over browning or burning on the bottom. I used this method all the time before insulated cookies came out and never had dark cookie bottoms.
************** Out of glass cleaner? A strong, alcohol-based mouthwash will work as well as, or better than, glass cleaner on your computer monitor or TV screen. Apply with a damp, soft cloth and buff dry. Remember to use only on glass screens, not liquid crystal displays! The alcohol can damage the material used in LCDs.
*************** After you shave your legs, they may feel rough and irritated. Rub on hair conditioner; it acts like a lotion and can soothe the hurt away.

Handy Hints #1
Insect bites Mix water with cornstarch into a paste and apply. This is effective in drawing out the poisons of most insect bites and is also an effective remedy for diaper rash.

Handy Hint #2
Plants can lower the temperature of sunny rooms by up to two degrees. How? By absorbing warming carbon dioxide from sunlight, then emitting cool water vapor--the same way rain forests help keep the Earth cool!
