i was recently diagnosed with bpd and just found this site ,so i decided to introduce myself ,i am one of the few guys with bpd but other than that i have all the classic symptoms or so i am told ,life can be hard with this thing so i am looking for support ,anyway just wanted to say hello

Hi bloodletter1980, WELCOME to the site. I understand where you're coming from mate, I know just how hard BPD can make your life. After the mania, comes the mega depression and there is always a mess to sort out and clean up. I've been diagnosed as having Cyclothymia, Borderline Personality and Generalised Anxiety Disorder. To my mind it is never as simple as putting someone in this or that category or categories, as mental illness has lots of overlapping symptoms. Anyway, once again WELCOME to the site. Hope you find what you are looking for
Mel is great with people and suffers from various handles
but she has done alot of research and knows more than i do
Pretty much anyone here does and the one thing that i see as a common denominator here is willingness to help those that suffer with similar ailments and the inner strength you all have with struggles is amazing to me....... especiallly when none of this was brought on by you....
The human brain is amazing when the intricacies get out of whack ..... and nobody seems to fully understand how to get everything back into place.
Anyway welcome to the group and any questions ask... someone will try and do the best they know how to

Welcome to the group. Ihave a few friends with BPD. I have borderline personaity disorder and I also have been struggling with a eating disorder for some time now.
