IT'S A GOD-THING
Come, everyone who is thirsty,
Come to the waters; and you without money,
Come,buy, and eat... Without money and without cost.
ISAIAH 55:1
God wants us to find our satisfaction in Him alone rather than waste our time and effort on things that cannot satisfy. But I believe He creates and activates a nagging dissatisfaction In us for an excellent reason, knowing full well that He has created us with a need only He can meet.
He wants us to find the only thing that will truly satiate our thirsty, hungry hearts. Yet He gives us a will so we can choose whether or not to accept His invitation to "come" to Him. See, dissatisfaction is not a terrible thing. It's a God- thing. It only becomes a terrible thing when we don't let it lead us to Christ.
