"Brilliant!"

Every once in a while I hear a word that catches my fancy.
The thought of it tickles my soul and makes me want to use
it all day long. These are special words that are normally
used under different circumstances but add excitement to what
you are saying.

An actor on TV this morning said the word "delicious" and
instantly grabbed my attention. Truthfully I thought of
my wife, Marianne. She is delicious. She adds flavor to my
life. She's the "Spice" added to the dish that is placed before
me each day as I look upon my plate and wonder how this day
will be served.

I called her and left a message to tell her so. "You are
delicious!" I said.

Then there is "brilliant."

I hear the English use that word. " Oh, Brilliant!" Can you
imagine for a moment if you were to awaken one day, walk to
the window and looking out immediately saw the world as
"brilliant?"

Fireworks go off in my mind when I say that word. How
different I see things when I look at them that way.

I have before me another day
I set the pace with what I say
I wonder what this day will bring
more pain, sadness or suffering?

Then all at once I speak the word
that most days prior I never heard
I think of "joy" and what can be
And realize it's up to me

I create the world in which I live
I can take from it what I give
"Brilliant," "delicious" is what I'll see
Now watch the change you'll see in me!

I love you all so very much!
