KOOL AID
A Christians life is like making Kool-Aid. The water is your life outside of church. The sugar is your life at church. When you mix them together, the sugar disappears. It's still there, but no one can really see it. God is the Kool-Aid mix. When you add the Kool-Aid to the sugar water, it taste and looks good. When you add God to your life, He makes things better. He adds color and flavor. God colors your life. No one wants to drink sugar water, but when the purpose of the sugar water is added to the solution, the water taste good and is refreshing. "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from presence of the Lord." (Acts 3:19) Everyone is suppose to glorify God, and that is their purpose. Unless someone dose something for the glorification of God, it is a waste, just like the sugar water. "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) Without the Kool-Aid mix, mixing the sugar and water was a waste. Without God, there is no purpose in life; life is a waste. Ashley Settles, March 2009 Fairland, Indiana Member of Unity in Christ Church
