I am losing my sanity

Am I wrong here?

My daughter use to work at the the same place as I did and now the staff there is being harassed there with phone calls
from probably creditors
I was asked by the staff to pass the message along which was a phone number and contact name which I did

April has no phone at this time but email through a friend
i sent her the message simply saying

"someone harassing museum over you
Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2009 11:32:08 -0400


guy named Shawn keeps calling the museum and leaving messages and then calls all day long demanding for them to tell you to call him
or for them to give you information about where you can be reached
don't know what it is about

she writes back

i don't want to hear about it f**k OFF!!!!!!!

and then the dipnuts she is with writes this

notice you still treat your daughter the same, i just think that your a disgusting pig, you aint worth nuts, and when i come down to kick the nuts outta Peter, you might wanna hide as well. f**k with us Macintyre,s and you pay , got it. Have a nice day

what did i do that was so wrong...she created the situation and she can take care of it... I asked nothing more than she acknowledge the message
made no judgement simply delivered the message that was asked of me. She is an adult not a little kid.

Do adults not take care of their own situations? am i trying to run her life?

YOu know this is about the 60th time this type of thing has happened and I am tired of having to clean up messes... especially hers

I just don't understand she was brought up to be more responsible than this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so she gets this a#*hole to threaten me yet again

No Rhonda, you are not losing your sanity.

It seems as thought April is the one that has lost hers. Sorry that is not really fair, but I was just trying to put it in perspective for you..

While we love our kids and do our best to take care of them, it doesn't mean that we are not allowed to disapprove of their behaviour.

I am very sorry that she has managed to drag you into her, what I consider to be self-made crap.

But unfortunately that is how life goes. I'm sure she didn't do it out of malice, but that doesn't make it any easier for you. April has a disorder which no doubt influences her behaviour and like far too many young ladies today, she seems to always hook up with the wrong guys.

Maybe it is time for you to think about pulling back a bit and letting her get on with it. I think if you do, you may be able to understand her behaviour a bit, but this doesn't mean that you have to like it or put up with it.

You have a right to take care of yourself, you have your problems and you don't need her's adding to your burden.

Plese try to take care of you and not let this drag you down.

i did report the threat to police and have an information warrant so that if something happens... they have a suspect..I gave them a copy of the email..... i also reported this to the appropriate isp's
the messages he sends will not come through and i want no contact with any of them at this point...
I laughed at your grandma's saying as it is something i have heard all my life but forgotten.... thanks for that and it's exactly what Paul said too.....anyway i should get my butt in gear

Well Looks like you have had it tough these poast few weeks with her. I think it is time for TOUGH LOVE Rhonda as much as it may hurt and all but You have always Bailed her out of her messes. I think she is going to have take this one on her own.

You are making the right steps by reporting it to the police and all that. Thats good on your part.

Its time to cut the string and let her make and learn her own mistakes now. Its time for April to Grow up.

You can let her know that you will alway be there for her if and when she decided to leave whats his name and that you will always love her.

Have not been on much as my Father has been feeling poorly anyway today is luncheon with the girls and Alanna is coming out with us so it will be nice to see everyone
It;s the old group from the Historical museum... we decided once a month we should get together & try and play catch up
It is so easy to drift away.
I missed last month as the kids came from Windsor
It seems that time just passes me by far too quickly and i never seem to get anything done... how can that be when i am so busy
Called my sis in law to see if her daughter had her baby yet but not yet.
