The .PDF file attached has all the current stuff about the fires...
if ya wanna know...its just all about our fires...its been a wonderful summer up here with
lotsa warm weather...but its been dry...hence so many fires and visibilties less than
a mile now from the smoke...But we have been in the 80's for 2 strait weeks now
and we even have suntans !!...lol..ripe tomatoes galore now as well as lotsa other garden
stuff is coming ripe..I love summer !!!

7 new fires were reported to the Alaska Interagency Coordination Center Sunday. The Sled Trail Fire and the Bear Paw Fire were lightning caused and are currently staffed. As of 9 am Monday, the Alaska Interagency Coordination Center had tallied 393 fires and 765,589.9 acres burned this year. At this time last year, 310 fires had burned 69,197.2 acres.
68 fires are active across Alaska. 16 fires are staffed.
