In High School, I won a music award called Tri - M ( a lifetime membership to a national music honor society ).

I also did NYSSMA competitions just about every year since 7th grade through 12th grade. ( NYSSMA stands for New York State Music Association )

During my first NYSSMA competition I sang a spanish song titled: 'Seguidilla Dolorosa De Una Enamorada" on a level 3 ( which was high considering it was my first year. ) I recieved a score in the mid 90's that year.

By my last year doing NYSSMA, I was on level 6 which was the higest level, and I recieved a perfect score - 100.
