Each year, before my senior year, I would happen to get laryngitis every time on the day of the audition for Melodies of Christmas, and would therefore be unable to sing at the audition.

188. When it came near to the time for the audition in my senior year, I drank 4 gallons of orange juice in the weeks before and took vitamin C every day for weeks before the audition as I was determined to get in as it would be the =last year I could be in the show as only H.S. students could do the Melodies of Christmas show, and I FINALLY made it!!!!!
