Hi, I just joined this today. My name is Katie and I suffer from depression and a dissociative disorder. I enjoy writing poetry, creating art, dancing and reading. I'm a cat lover. I'm 35, but its my birthday on Tuesday, so I'll turn 36. I struggle with the PTSD side of the dissociation, and have low self esteem from the years of school bullying and emotional neglect and emotional abuse I endured. I'm just about keeping a hold on my job...my manager has recently approached HR for guidance on managing my 'illness'. But I don't like to see myself as ill. As not all of me is ill. Does that make sense? Jasmine is the 'healer'/supporter part of my personality. That's why I chose my name here.

thank you Mel.
I'll maybe post in some poems of mine later. I don't tend to write stories, just poems.
