Hi Mel, glad life is being kind to you at the moment. It's nice to know things are going smoothly and your life has some "normality" in it again. Keep up the good work hun, you are doing great.
We upgraded the computer and have most of our stuff back now, still a bit to do though. Just about got all the storm debris cleared away, just one more log to saw up. Then we have to start rebuilding the garden.
Take care.

Hi Mel, 45F is far too cold for me, we only get the odd night in the middle of winter that is that cold here and we never get snow. Well the storm was supposed to be a severe thunderstorm, but it was more like a mini tornado, we were right in the middle of it. Our suburb was second most damaged. The government declared it a disaster area and sent in over 2000 military personnel to help with the clean up and restoring services like power and opening up the blocked roads. I think it is probably the second worst "storm" I've lived thru. Take care hun, thinking of you.

You are so right about the weather being weird Rhonda, down south of here where it snows in winter, they had snow in the first week of summer. The storm was pretty nasty and did heaps of damage, the "experts" are now saying it was a low category Tornado, which is very unusual for here. The ski country sounds inviting at the moment, but I don't think I could handle for very long. I hope life has improved for your daughter and you and the rest of your family are doing well. Hugs. Jim.

Hey Jim sounds like a pretty nasty storm... We just got a pretty bad storm on Thursday. In albany they got a ice storm and we got about 7-8 inches of snow here. Alot of people had no lights or heat for a couple of days and some they are not expecting to get turned back on until Wednesday. They have crews from all over worked around the clock for clean up and trying to get everyone;s power back on. We went to the mall on Friday and the power went out about 20 minutes before we were getting ready to leave. It was pitch black in there for about 5 minutes until the genrators kicked on and then everyone had to clse the stores so we just left. It was hell trying to get out becuase everyone was leaving and there were no traffic lights at the time.
Rhonda I am glad that you had a nice visit with your daughter and the boys. I did not know that Your other daughter moved up north I would of thought that she would want to stay near you I always thought the two of you were close.
Well Last weekend I was at St Mary's Hospital. My roommate had just driven me over the edge waking me up at 4am and everything. While I was gone I found out she got into my closest and stole some stuff anf also was eating my food. *SIGH*
Anyways friday night after we got home from the mall My roommate and I got into a big fight. and well that I can honestly say was th first time I lost my tempting like I did that night. By the end of the night I was shaking it was so bad.
I am moving Feb 3 into my own apartment without any roommate. I can't wait for that day. Things are really bad here and just seem to be getting worse.
Well I have three christmas parties that I have to go too. Two this week and one next week. ANd I also have all my shopping done thank goodness.
Well I think thats about it. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday.
Always Melissa
